ITINERARY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND ADJUSTMENT

      Who is this trip for?

      Who is this trip for?

This journey is crafted for those who desire a comprehensive experience that combines adventure, cultural richness, and environmental consciousness. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a first-time visitor to Africa, this trip promises meaningful and thrilling experiences for all.

This trip is NOT for you if:

Who is this trip NOT for?

This trip may not be suitable for everyone, catering less to the following types of travelers:

      - Comfort Seekers:  The more rustic and authentic experiences, such as the visit to a Maasai village or the adventure safaris, might be outside your comfort zone.

      - Those with Limited Mobility: Due to the nature of activities like walking tours in Stone Town’s uneven and narrow streets, safaris in rugged terrains, and visits to markets that can be crowded and chaotic, this trip might be challenging for those with mobility issues.

      - Travelers Seeking a Leisurely Pace: This itinerary is packed with activities and requires a good level of stamina and enthusiasm for daily adventures. If you prefer a more relaxed, slow-paced holiday, the activity level of this trip might be too intense.

      - Nightlife Enthusiasts: While there are certainly peaceful evenings and beautiful sunsets to enjoy, those looking for vibrant nightlife and frequent evening entertainment will find that this trip focuses more on daytime activities and cultural experiences.

      - Allergy Sufferers: Individuals with allergies or sensitivities to dust or animal dander might find certain parts of the trip, such as the safaris and animal encounters, uncomfortable.

This journey is geared towards active and adventurous travelers who are eager to immerse themselves in new experiences and aren’t deterred by the physical demands and the less polished aspects of travel. If you seek a quieter, more predictable, or pampered trip, you might want to consider other options that better meet your comfort needs.

      Room Options

We offer two accommodation options to suit your travel style and comfort needs:

      1. Single Occupancy Rooms: If you treasure privacy, are a light sleeper, or have specific sleep-related preferences, this is the ideal choice for you. Our single rooms provide a tranquil, personal environment, typically featuring a queen or king-size bed. This option is particularly recommended for those who may be sensitive to noises like snoring, or who prefer not to be disturbed.

      2. Double Occupancy Rooms: This budget-friendly option allows travelers to share a room with another trip participant. We always aim for rooms with two twin or queen beds. However, due to varying global hotel standards, we cannot guarantee the availability of two separate beds in every location. There is a possibility of needing to share a bed. We emphasize that if you have concerns about sharing sleeping space, particularly if you are a light sleeper or have specific needs or sensitivities, it's advisable to choose a single room or upgrade your booking promptly. This ensures we can accommodate your request for an additional room, as we are unable to make changes to rooming arrangements during the trip.

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey, please select your accommodation type based on your personal comfort requirements and sleeping habits. Our aim is to provide a memorable and hassle-free travel experience for all our guests!

      Tipping

      The Importance of Tipping

In Countries like this, tipping is more than just a gesture of appreciation; it's a crucial support to the local economy and a meaningful way to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of those who help make our trip memorable. The service staff, from drivers to restaurant servers, often go above and beyond to ensure we have an exceptional experience.  Many locals depend on tourism for their livelihood, tips can significantly impact their well-being and ability to support their families.

Understanding this, we have established a collective tipping system to ensure fair and generous compensation for the services we receive. On the first day of our trip, we will collect a total of USD 300 from each participant. This amount is carefully calculated to cover all tipping needs throughout the week, including drivers, baggage handlers, , guides, and restaurant servers/staff etc .

      This approach has several benefits:

      1. Fair Distribution: It ensures that all service providers are fairly and adequately compensated for their efforts.

      2. Convenience for Travelers: You won't have to worry about carrying change or figuring out the appropriate amount to tip for different services.

      3. Solidarity and Support: It reflects our group's solidarity and support for the local community, recognizing the importance of their contributions to our travel experience.

By pooling our tips in this manner, we not only simplify the process for our guests but also make a meaningful contribution to the local economy. It's a way of saying 'thank you' and giving back to the people who work tirelessly to make our stay in Rwanda a truly remarkable and unforgettable experience.

My first Haitian Nomad trip through Vietnam and Cambodia was absolutely amazing. I'm already counting down the days until I can book my next adventure with Haitian Nomad. First off, the people! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It really did feel like a big family by the end of our time together. Definitely have some new friends. Then the planned activities. They were 🔥🔥🔥🔥. There was something for everyone; we had active adventures to opportunities to learn more about the history of place and stories of the people to rest and relaxation. It wasn't just about the touristy stuff; we really got to connect with the places we visited. The food was also on point. We were fed well and good and really got to experience authentic local cuisine. In addition, communication was on point throughout the trip. Everything was super organized, so I didn't have to stress about a thing. Oh, and the accommodations? Top-notch, for real. It was like staying in luxury heaven after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a stress-free, luxury travel experience where you can kick-back, soak up the culture, and make some dope memories, Haitian Nomad is where it's at.

Loved, Loved, Loved this Vietnam trip!! Everything was great; wonderful hotels, food, the host! Richard couldn’t have planned a more perfect trip. Some of my faves were the Halong Bay cruise and the street food tour in Ho Chi Minh. This was my first Haitian Nomad trip but it won’t be my last.
