Here are 4 fitness measurements that can help to gauge your ability to learn and perform Sarga Bodywork with success:
1. The ability to balance on one foot for at least 1 minute without holding onto anything for support. Please note: excessive ankle inversion or supination can limit your ability in class as well as ankle injuries with limited dorsiflexion. We highly recommend ankle and knee stabilizing , glute and core activation exercises to be prepared for this course.
2. Excellent cardiovascular conditioning and the ability to perform cardiovascular exercise (jogging, swimming, etc.) for 10-15 minutes without stopping.
3. The ability to perform at least 3 sets of 20 squats.
4. The ability to isometrically hold a plank for at least 1 minute.
If you do not feel confident that you could meet these four requirements or if the location equipment and classroom cannot accommodate the height and weight parameters above, but you would still like to attend a Sarga Bodywork course, then our floor-based courses would be the best fit for you! Please contact sarga@sargabodywork.com directly for floor based course inquiries. While basic strength and conditioning is still important here, a floor-based practice provides practitioners a much wider and more stable working area, and fitness level is less of a consideration.
ARRIVAL + DEPARTURE
• Please notice the course dates and time. If you are arriving from out of town, please book your flights so that you arrive (at least) the day before the first day of class and leave (at least) the day after the last day of class. Since we are an NCBTMB approved CE course in which you receive 24 CE credit hours for 101 and 12 Ce credits for 102, all class time must be allotted for to receive your Certificate of Completion.
• We highly suggest that you book refundable travel arrangements until your course is confirmed (meets minimum enrollment), and that you purchase flexible airline tickets/travel insurance if you are arriving from out-of-town. • If we have not reached the required minimum student enrollment up to 30 days prior to the class start time, Sarga Bodywork reserves the right to postpone a course to a later time or to cancel it altogether. In such an event, registrants have the choice to either transfer to another course without paying the transfer fee, or to be refunded their full payment.
• Class times are always 10:00am - 5:00pm (with a one-hour lunch break between noon and 2pm each day); unless noted otherwise. You will be reminded in upcoming communication emails. Please arrive a few minutes early, or with enough time to get settled before class begins and allow up to 30 minutes "flex time" after 5pm each class day.
• Since we are a certified NCBTMB CEU provider, any missed class time has to be made up, case by case; which could require a retake if any portion of class is missed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Your course tuition is non-refundable. If you cannot attend and cancel 60- 30 days before class you tuition is good for 1 year and you may apply it to any Sarga Bodywork Course, location, dates, instructor, within 1 year of original booking. Transfer fees and rate increases may apply. However, if you cancel in less than the 60 day mark your tuition is non-transferrable and will be forfeited.
TRANSFER POLICY
• You may transfer out of a course up to 60 days before the course. However, in the case of a Pop-Up your tuition is non-transferable and non-refundable due to the short lead time. However, if I cannot meet the minimum student capacity and cancel the course prematurely I will refund your tuition without penalty.
•A $75 transfer fee is applicable if you request to transfer after tuition is paid. If you register for a course at the 60-day mark or later, course tuition is both non-refundable and non-transferrable.
