A mountain biking trip in the heart of the Cape Winelands in support of the Pump For Peace racing team.
Pump for Peace Racing Team is a professional mountain bike team with a difference. The team draws its riders from marginalised countries and communities with the aim of forging pathways to high-performance cycling on the global stage. The goal is to help its riders become leaders and through them inspire their communities to dream big while embracing the healthy lifestyle cycling promotes. The team will focus on the UCI XCO World Cup Series races, Continental Championships and select stage races, including the 2023 Cape Epic.
This trip has two options:
Both options include riding in Stellenbosch and visiting Cape Town. For 1 - 4 November, you will have to choose if you want to ride the Wines2Whales stage race, or go on a Klein Karoo riding experience.
Experience the race with the most #GEES (vibes) in South Africa! Generally considered as the last big stage race of the year for most professional teams, this race attracts all kinds of riders, from novice riders to the top pro's. One thing is for certain, you'll have amazing views, great single track and lots of memories to take home with you!
Be part of the action at this year's Wines2Whales race!
Spend 4 days in the Klein Karoo of South Africa. The Aardvark Bioreserve is the perfect setting to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Klein Karoo.
The farm has giraffes, zebra, blesbokke and many other species of animals you can see from your bike. With over 50 km's of singletracks, and an 85 km gravel loop, you can truly enjoy the vastness of the area.
The farm has beautiful cottages and hot tubs (called kol-kols) to relax when you are not riding.
