Mr. Cotton (instructor) did a great job as always of organizing the trip. However, a bus broke down on the South Carolina border, leaving students stranded off the side of the highway for around 4 hours. They missed part of their trip and did not have lunch during this period of time.

It was unfortunate that there was a break down with one of the buses, but it was inexcusable that it would take over four (4) hours to get a technician onsite and find a part for a 10 minute fix. This should have been corrected much sooner with a substitute bus and would avoided the four (4) hours loss of time that the kids did not get to spend at Carowinds Amusement Park. There was a large amount of money spent for the buses and the time to be spent at Carowinds Amusement that was lost due to this delay. I hope that there will be a refund for the lost time.
