Day 1: Oña and Nabon
Day 1: Oña and Nabon
A visit to the battlefield between Cañaris and Incas
We start our tour driving from Cuenca to Nabon where we try the delicious "tortillas de choclo" and learn from the town´s mesmerizing hystory.

Then we visit the place where Cacique Duma leading the Cañaris fought and won agains the Incas on their first incursion to the territory, a place with archeological ruins and beautifull landscapes, where we will do a short hike.

On our way to Oña, we visit Cochapata, a magical town detained in time.

At Oña we visit an architectonical jewel: "La Bella de Paris", a patrimonial house inspired in Parisian style.

Traditional lunch.

Check in at our hotel.

Firework show and tequila (Chaguar-mishki) tasting from the local factory.

Day 2: Cultural Saraguro
Day 2: Cultural Saraguro
Visit to Saraguro and it´s cultural landscapes
Today we visit Saraguro and its markets, have an incredible lunch at a local restaurant, a gastronomic delight.

Then we visit the viewpoing of Gera, where an inca fortress lays hidden and protected from time.

Travel back to Cuenca, with a short visit to the local goat farm, where we try some great cheese and dulce de leche. Good possibilities of feeding a baby goat.
