7:45 - Departure from Jungle Bay for 2 tank dive with Nature Island Divers (5 min drive to dive shop. All dives are boat dives. Boat trips to dive sites average 10 min)  
12:30 – Pick up from Nature Island Divers and return to Jungle Bay for lunch – (free afternoon to rest, explore, or try out a spa service on site)

4:00 – 5:00 The Jungle Bay Garden of Eden Story for those who are interested (Free) 

6:00 - Dinner

7:45 - Departure from Jungle Bay for 2 Tank Boat dives.

12:30 - 12:30 - After being Picked up from Dive Dominica we have a 1 hour drive to the interior of Dominica/Hibiscus Valley. After a welcome drink and a short briefing we hit the river. The tour takes about 60 to 90 minutes. We will float along slow-flowing pools while basking in Dominica's natural wonders. This is not only an exciting river-adventure but also a very beautiful and peaceful voyage in the heart of the untouched island. We will see various bird life, vegetation, and spectacular scenery staged by the beautiful valley of Concord. We will be traveling down the boundary line (the river) and the Kalinago Territory.

The river will take us on a good combination of fast rapids and lazy flowing pools which makes it both fun-filled and relaxing. We should return back to Jungle Bay around 5:30 pm. ($70.pp) 

Saturday: Excursion Day 

8:00am Transfer to the Roseau Valley for Canyoning with Extreme Dominica. 

We’ll enjoy an incredible adventure allowing us to experience the ravishing natural beauty of the island inside and out. We’ll hike down through the rainforest to a secret waterfall that drops off into a hidden canyon far beneath the sunlit forest canopy. No prior canyoneering training is required.  ($169. pp)

After a picnic lunch we’ll head over to Titou Gorge (20-minute drive from Extreme Dominica) which is a stunning gorge formed when molten lava flowed down from the mountain top before cooling and eventually cracking apart. Fresh water cascades over the rocks and through the gorge, creating one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the Caribbean Islands. We will swim through a series of natural “rooms” leading to a hidden waterfall. Fun Fact, a scene in Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed there when Capt. Jack and his crew were trying to escape from the tribe and fell into the gorge.  Following Titou Gorge we’ll travel 30 minutes to Ti Kwen Glo Cho Hot Springs for a warm soak in the tranquil hot spring baths. 50-minute drive back to Jungle Bay for dinner. ($75. pp)

6:00 – Dinner 

Sunday

7:45 depart Jungle Bay for 2 tank dive followed by a relaxing Picnic lunch and afternoon at Champagne Beach. The world-famous Champagne Reef is where underground Volcanic activity seeps through the ocean floor, then is cooled by sea waves and rises in a line of bubbles creating a memorable snorkeling experience. The picture above of the sandy beach bar is here. ($12pp. $2 to go onto the beach and $10 for a ride back up to Jungle Bay) 

3:30 – Return to Jungle Bay

5:00 – 6:30 – Sunset Kayak – Enjoy the sunset while paddling in the Caribbean Sea of the Soufriere /Scotts Head Marine Reserve 5 minutes from Jungle Bay. ($55.pp) 

6:30 – Dinner back at Jungle Bay

7:15 departure for 2 Tank Dive  Lunch back at Jungle Bay  

1:45 - Whale Watching tour – Dominica is home to Sperm Whales and Pilot Whales and is at the center of whale research and is the mecca of whale watching in the Caribbean. It is said the odds of seeing whales is 80% year-round. ($100pp) 

Tuesday – Excursion Day (Choose 1 of 3 options or just chill out and rest. It’s your vacation)  

8:00 – 4:00 Perdu Temps Hike Retrace the footsteps of Dominica’s “maroons” (run-away slaves). This hike is part of the historic Perdu Temps trail and takes about 90 minutes each way through secondary forest, mainly flat terrain and some river crossings. It gets steep and narrow as you approach the end and opens up to an area often described as “paradise” or “the Garden of Eden”. You are invited to pick fresh tropical fruits from trees. Explore Pump’s bio diversified farm with a huge variety of exotic fruits and vegetables. Tour the “Medical Garden” with a wide assortment of healing plants/natural herbal remedies. Pump and his family warmly welcome you to their home due to the close relationship they have with Sam, the owner of Jungle Bay. A Vegan lunch is provided. Difficulty level - Moderate ($99.pp)  

8:00 – 1:30 – Middleham Falls Hike – Trek along the misty mountain trail with lush rainforest vegetation to the tallest waterfall on the island, Middleham Falls. Jaco parrots are occasionally heard or spotted. The end of the hike becomes a little steeper as you scramble your way down to the waterfall pool for a refreshing splash. Difficulty level - Moderate ($95pp)

7:30am to 5:00pm – Boiling Lakes Hike – Explore Domica’s famous “World Wonder” and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This world-class trail traverses several climate zones with giant fern trees and a cloud forest. Stops along the route include the mysterious Valley of Desolation, a soak in hot water pools, and a sulfur mud facial. The hike is approximately 3 hours each way, up and down fairly steep hills. This hike is VERY CHALLENGING.  ($125pp) 

Jungle Bay will transfer us back to the airport to travel home.
