Travel with your friends and neighbors as we spend 3 days and 2 nights in one of the most charming cities in the United States. During our 3 days, we will enjoy some of the highlights of Charleston but will leave time each day for you to more deeply explore areas of historic Charleston that may be of interest to you.
We work to have the most agreeable cancellation policy in the travel industry. Anyone who must cancel after registration will forfeit a $95 fee. This amount is used to make deposits on the bus which must be booked in advance. If there is a waiting list and we can replace you with someone else being added to the trip, we will then reimburse your initial deposit in full.
Anyone who must cancel after March 15th , 2023 may also forfeit an additional fee for the hotel room. Our hope would be that we would be able to get a refund for you on the hotel room; however, if we are unable to procure a full refund for your hotel room, please know that the portion of your trip that goes to pay for your lodging would be withheld from your refund final. This would be $275 for anyone staying double occupancy (per person) and $550 for anyone staying single occupancy.
No shows on the morning of departure will not be eligible for a refund.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance, as things often come up. Please know that typically travel insurance must be paid by the earliest of your final payment or the final due date.
While we always try and plan trips with accessibility in mind, we wanted to let potential travelers know of three things before booking:
Charleston is a historic city and to keep with its history, large portions of the downtown area are cobblestone walkways. These walkways may present trouble for people who require assistance to walk.
Each afternoon, travelers will have a window of time to explore City Market, King Street, etc. on their own. This may require being able to walk up to a mile at a time.
During our tour of Boone Hall Plantation, we will tour the gardens and farm. This will require walking through grass fields. We will tour the farm by tractor. The tractor has a step to get in and out of the tractor. Anyone who is not comfortable getting themselves in and out of the trailer, with assistance, is welcome to not take the driving tour of the farm.
