OUR GUIDE IN MUSIC AND YOGA

Music Bio: Ānanda Yogī ji is an internationally loved musician, song composer and mantra enthusiast.  His musical offerings complement his yogic practices with a deep devotional spirit.  His music channels a powerful blend of modern and ancient soundscapes that touches the heart.  Infused with mantras in Sanskrit and Gurbani, his music offers blissful energy currents woven into lyrical heart songs. He plays guitar, harmonium and bansuri flute along with his soulful singing.

He's well known for his collaborations with Jaya Lakshmi.  Together they have released 14 albums and toured nationally and internationally since 2011. His latest release is the album "Flower of Life" (2019) and together they released a mantra album called "Lakshmi Dreams" (2020).

Yoga Teacher Bio:  Ānanda Yogī ji has been a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga as taught by the Kundalini Research Institute since 2006. In April 2020 while in India, he completed a 300hr teacher training in the Himalayan Yoga tradition known as Sattva Yoga. In May of 2020, he also completed an 18 day, 60 hour course on the Bhagavad Gita, both the 300hr and Gita courses we taught by Anand Mehrotra, a himalayan yogic master.

He currently is inspired to share the uplifting, potent and healing practices of Sattva Kundalini Yoga.

Yoga & Chanting

This retreat will also help deepen your love and practice of chanting, bhakti, Sattva Kundalini Yoga, and ceremony in a majestic and elevating environment.  We will sing and chant our hearts open each night. We will rejuvenate, relax, and explore yoga as a practice of embodying spirit in a heart opening and devotional way.  Through daily meditation and chanting you will refine your perspective of these practices and yourself.

Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance

As a small family business, we must adhere to our cancellation policies as detailed on our website “prepare” page. Because of this, travel insurance is strongly recommended. It will reimburse you if you make a late cancellation (60 days or fewer before your trip date) due to illness, injury, smoke, natural fire, flood, or other act of nature. WE WILL NOT.

Please note, if you cannot come, you are welcome to find a friend to replace you. Plan for the unexpected with Travel Insurance through TravelInsured.com Estimate about 6%-7% of your trip cost. Kids 17 and under are usually covered at no extra charge. ***With this company, you have 21 DAYS (from the day of initial deposit to Nate’s Rogue Adventures) to purchase trip insurance.

FOREST FIRES AND SMOKE:

Occasionally during the rafting season, forest fires in the region will cause smoke to settle in the Rogue River Canyon. Just like with rain, we float with smoke or no smoke. Every few years a forest fire will close the Rogue River. Please keep this in consideration while deciding to purchase trip insurance.

MULTI-DAY RAFTING/HIKING TRIPS:

  • A deposit of $500 will hold your space for our multi-day rafting trip.
  • Cancellations: Should you have to cancel your River Adventure with us, all deposits are non-refundable. After the final balance due date, all payments become non-refundable. Alternate guests are welcome. Please understand that we cannot ensure your investment in river trip reservations. We strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation and interruption insurance. Once you sign up, we lose the right to sell your reserved space to other individuals or groups. Our number of trips and spaces per trip are limited by river management plans. Therefore, we regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies. Should you decide to cancel your trip with us, your trip cost is not transferable to another year.
  • Money will not be refunded for any reason including forest fires, medical emergencies, property disasters, or work-related issues.
  • A minimum of two guests is required to run any multi-day rafting trip, although they do not need to be in the same party. A single guest may join any available multi-day trip that is already scheduled with other participants.
  • All rafting trip participants are required to sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks in a whitewater experience. This waiver will be e-mailed to you upon booking; sign and return the waiver before your trip.

Reviews

My wife and I had an unforgettable adventure on the Rogue River with Nate, Abbie and their highly experienced team. Everything about this excursion was first class from beginning to end. And we always felt safe. I highly recommend taking this trip with Nate and his amazing crew! And by the way, we are in our 70's. Gary and Mary Hill
