• Arrive in Geneva at 7:45 a.m. where our full time bilingual Quest Sports Travel Tour Manager meets the group to travel by private motor coach for a guided walking tour of the city - Situated along the banks of Lake Geneva at the foot of the Alps, Geneva sparkles as one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Home to the European headquarters of the United Nations, Geneva has a long history of diversity and tolerance dating back to the Protestant Reformation. Today, the city of Geneva is a cultural center second to none featuring world class entertainment, top rated restaurants and unlimited opportunities for recreation. Individual lunch and time for further sightseeing or shopping on your own.

• This afternoon cross the French border en route to Annecy and check-in to the 4* Hotel Mercure Annecy Sud **** for an 10-night stay.

• Lunch on your own followed by an orientation tour of Aix-les-Bains with you tour manager - Stroll down leafy boulevards, admiring Roman ruins and its exceptional art gallery before walking or cruising Lac du Bourget, France's deepest lake. The town centre is about 2km east of the lakefront.

• After breakfast return to Lac du Bourget for your second practice.

• This afternoon transfer to Chambéry and enjoy time to discover this charming town - Huddled between Chartreuse and Massif des Bauges regional parks, the attractive town of Chambéry is often forgotten by visitors to the French Alps. Chambéry was Savoy’s capital from the 13th century until 1563, when the Dukes relocated to Turin. Past centuries have enriched the town, 12km south of Lac du Bourget, with elaborate hôtels particuliers (grand townhouses), a medieval château and a one-of-a-kind trompe l’oeil–decorated cathedral.

• Later, visit a local vineyard and enjoy a wine tasting featuring local white and red wines.

• After breakfast transfer to Chamonix and take the funicular to reach the Plan de l’Aiguille (2317 m). Admire the Glacier des Bossons, the Mont-Blanc (4808,72m), the Aiguille Verte, the Drus and the Aiguilles de Chamonix. Then hop in a 2nd cable car, which in just 10 minutes takes you up to an altitude of 12,392 feet, above the sea the Pélerins glacier and the hanging glaciers on the north face of the Aiguille du Midi.

Our school canceled the trip due to COVID 19. Quest chose to hide behind that fact when faced with refunding our payments. They only gave us back what they could recover from vendors (40%). Had we left for the trip we would have been packing up in the middle of the night racing to get back to the US before Italy completely closed. How would they have handled that? I understand we were not the only school canceling but they should have done the right thing. Do they not have any contingency plans for trips being canceled or do they always throw their customers under the bus? I am not impressed with how this was handled and would be reluctant to ever use or recommend their services.

The trip - what we got to experience - was great! Erinna was a wonderful and knowledgeable travel organizer. But, we had to leave three days early because of the corona virus and travel restrictions, so we missed out on our days in Vienna. Quest Travel made arrangements for our group to leave early from Munich and we are grateful for them doing that. However, they could only get tickets for us to Charlotte, NC. From there, we had to PAY Quest Travel for our tickets and baggage to O'Hare Chicago. Why should we have to file claims to be reimbursed when we paid YOU, Quest Travel? YOU should be reimbursing us! It also seems that some of the monies paid for the three lost days in Vienna should be reimbursed as well. To clarify our above statement, we thank Quest Travel for providing a well organized and wonderful trip. All people we came in contact with were very professional. The people involved in getting us back to the States from Germany under very unusual circumstances did an amazing job and for that we are extremely grateful. We just wish the handling of the tickets from Charlotte to Chicago had been done in a better way.

Our time was cut short but during those days, our tour was amazing. Our Tour guide Erinna was phenomenal and made the tour so much better. I miss her already! Due to the circumstances of our trip being cut short, I thought the agency handled the situation so well and got us all home safe. I am thankful for their work and finding a big group like ours tickets home so quick.

It was a well organized trip. Great group of people and a great time. The tour manager Erinna, was wonderful. Unfortunately, the trip had to be cut short but it was fun while it lasted.
